January Update
Posted by WIZfan Webmaster
Sorry for the lack of news posting or attention to this web site. I've been really busy plus it's kind of hard to get into the Wizards at this point. They had a nice win against the Sixers and then another solid win against Seattle last night (while I was watching Maryland lose to Georgia Tech).
Other than that, though, the Wizards have been pathetic. The Wizards have been getting blown out every night. Not one of the young guns has shown any promise of ever being able to lead an NBA team to a victory. Maybe some of these guys will be good roleplayers somewhere down the road, but every single one of them turns the ball over to much and tries to do their own thing while completely ignoring the flow of the game.
Back to the awful play of the Wizards...Sure, no NBA team would be good without their two best players, but it's not like Arenas and Stackhouse are all that great. Arenas has been doing nothing but taking threes with a man contesting him and no one under the basket all year. Stackhouse doesn't even want to play. He hasn't set any dates as to when he will return or even practice again. Lucky him...He's sitting there, not having to play a single game for the pathetic Wizards and he's getting played millions.
It's not like Stack is all that great, either. He does the same thing as Arenas. Stackhouse will make a little juke, either shoot or drive to the basket, and throw up a shot. This way he doesn't have to run around, set picks, and try to get open.
Now for the site news... I've been real busy and real disinterested in the Wizards. I'm not one of those bandwagon fans, but the Wizards are too pathetic even for a seasoned Washington fan. I will get back to more frequent updates in a couple of weeks, but I have no idea when the picture gallery will be ready. Hopefully, it will be up in a month or so. I promise I will update more, when the Wizards play better. (I guess it will have to be before that point. :-))
