Lead ImageSorry for the lack of news posting or attention to this web site. I've been really busy plus it's kind of hard to get into the Wizards at this point. They had a nice win against the Sixers and then another solid win against Seattle last night (while I was watching Maryland lose to Georgia Tech).

Wizards Win a Game...Seriously
The Washington Wizards started the new year strong with a 97-79 victory over the Golden State Warriors. After starting out the first quarter poorly, the Wizards found themselves in a 6-0 hole, but climbed out of it and never looked back.

Washington used the offensive boards to their advantage, getting second-chance shots and taking command of the paint. Overall, it was an impressive victory that ended Washington's five-game losing streak.
